Pollinators

At least once a year, I will take a solo trip out to a cabin in the East Texas Piney Woods. It’s a very unique environment; full of pines, oaks, and dogwoods in a layered canopy, keeping the never-ending leaf litter cool and moist. The open meadows between the trees are a haven for native wildflowers and pollinators. It was at this cabin that the idea for actually trying to create my own designs rooted itself in my mind. This is my interpretation of memories from my time in those woods.
